I live just south of Bloor, along Jarvis, downtown Toronto.

I wish I lived in Italy, or perhaps France. In a villa! I want to know all my neighbours. I want to smell fresh coffee, baked goods and delightful sweets.

How friendly it could be.

I long to one day have a family of my own, a wife and a few tots, with a little pup or two running around the place.

Empire Avenue is addictive.

Really addictive.

I’ve e-met, and it’s important to establish the difference between meeting someone new, and e-meeting someone, quite a few really interesting, intelligent and passionate people.

Well, it’s been quite the weekend. Friendship, laughter, shenanigans; you know, the good stuff.

I’m still working on my voice here, so please, you’ll have to bare with me. I’m not particularly used to sharing my thoughts so openly, at least not in this context.

Recently, there’ve been a few friends of mine that have been through some unfortunate and grave family losses. I’m still trying to wrap my head around how these sorts of things happen.

Carelessness? Definitely.

I thought EA Royers was going to become a space where I’d discuss the happenings of the Empire, but there’s so much more happening. Our lives, to an extent of course, unfold with every post, investment and status update. Hopefully we’re effected and affected by one another.

EA is after all about community, is it not?

More thoughts to follow, I know I’ve rambled on here.

Hey y’all,

I’ve been poking around and playing on Empire Avenue now for almost a week, and I’m utterly hooked. I think it’s a great space and means of building community and marketing your brand, albeit personal or business.

I’m in the process of developing a couple of really cool, and social media integrated, iPhone applications.

I can’t to express the ups and downs of such an exchange system.
